where's my snes? i need my snes. i need it so i can record the street fighter II': championship edition sound effects and use them for drums on part two of my forthcoming 15-minute epic 'newboyfriend'. i need them to be complete!
once again, i must remind myself that music is a hobby, not a reason to live.

Do you really need the actual SNES sound? There are emulators for this sort of thing. You can hardly say 'fuck digital' given the circumstances.
"Ed, Ed, my dear boy... [sets down pipe and strokes beard]... one cannot make loose comments about 'EMULATORS' and 'NOT THE ACTUAL SOUND'... this is Streetfighter II for Chrissakes!"
music, makes the people, come together...
andy's right. one needs not just the harsh, emulated sounds, but the sound of street fighter 2 through a crap tv. and no emulator i've used has ever got the sound working completely. but ed's right too, for would 'there is a light that never goes out' sound better with a real string section?
anyway, i've downloaded snes 9x, and it turns out the sound issue was a buffer problem. we're rocking. who wants a cd of sf2' music and sound?
